Structure The search and rescue team called DRPI “reinforcement detachment and first response” was created in 2004 to perform the operations of search & rescue in an area affected by a natural or technological disaster locally and abroad. The DRPI.UNII became the “ALG.HUSAR.UNII01” in the INSARAG certification process; the team belongs to the National Unit of Training and Intervention (NUTI:) that is composed of (03) companies, working in shifts(24h/48h), each one is consisting of 250 pax. “ALG.HUSAR.UNII01” is consisting of 86pax posted per module (management, search, rescue, medical, logistics), mobilized in 2 hours, air transportable and autonomous for 10 days in terms of equipment, accommodation and food. Exercises are regularly scheduled at the local, regional and national scale in order to test the readiness, standardize the operational language and test the different levels of the chain of command. The “ALG.HUSAR.UNII01” is composed of a management team (10 PAX), search team (15 PAX), rescue Team (38 PAX), medical team (10 PAX) and a logistics team (13 PAX).
